Dear MCC Families: Box Top collection has returned to our elementary schools. Our PTC is excited to see what a difference Box Tops can make! From art supplies to gym equipment, field trips to class projects, these earnings help give teachers, students and schools the supplies they need to succeed. On March 24th from 2-5pm there will be an Easter Egg Hunt at the Old Engine Club inside Riverside Park! There will also be face painting, pictures with the Easter Bunny, food trucks, and a coffee truck! See the attached flyer for all the information!


Calling all 3rd and 4th grade families.... We are so excited to announce that MCC Upper Elementary’s KickStart to Career Deposit Day is coming up on April 25! Watch for deposit day envelopes and a reminder to come home the week before. Also, around the first week of April, you will receive a KickStart to Career statement with your child’s account balance. Please be sure to check your child’s backpack! We thought it was important to get this information to you before the first deposit day of the year. The 32nd Annual Family AfFair will be this Saturday, March 16th at MCC High School from 10am to 2pm. This year's theme is "Supporting the Growth & Success of all Families in our Communities"! March is Reading Month is underway at the Upper Elementary! Below is the calendar of events and activities based on the theme "We're Never BOARD While Reading (Board games)!!! We will also have classroom door decorating, classroom and grade level reading reward parties, and a whole lot more! As always, have a great day in Spartan Country!


The Annual Spring CommUNITY Auction is over for another year. We had some very lucky buyers and winners who got to take home a Buy Local basket of local business coupons and gift cards, thanks to the generosity of: Lela's Original Kettle Corn, EZ Mart, Sanders Meats, Grip N Rip, Brenda's Burgers, The 'Ville, Meijer and Walmart.

The Upper Elementary has a Buddy Classroom program! Mrs. Chalko's 3rd grade and Mrs. Pomorski's 5th grade classes got together and played some BOARD games in honor of our March is reading month theme!
