The City of Scottville invites everyone to the Fall Festival in Downtown Scottville on September 16 & 17. You won’t want to miss the free concert, The Verve Pipe, on Main Street to kick off the festivities on Friday September 16th at 8pm followed by a full day of events on Saturday September 17th starting at 10am.
The MCC High School Jazz Band under the direction of our new Band Director, Caleb Schultz is performing at Water Front Park as part of the West Shore Bank's Rhythm & Dunes Concert Series. Come out and support these dedicated musicians as WSB raises money to support the MCC, Ludington, and MCE bands.
Do you need an Athletic Physical for the 2022-23 School Year? The MCE Wellness Center is open this summer to help you out with that and other health care needs.
The Mason County Central Upper Elementary Upper Elementary office will be closed Monday, June 27th through Friday, August 19th. Office hours will continue from 8-3 through this Friday, June 24th. Our Central Business Office will be open Monday through Thursday from 8:30 - 3:00 if you need to get in touch over the summer. The Upper Elementary office will reopen on Monday, August 22nd. Posted below is the 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade back to school lists, so you have a chance to catch any deals over the summer! They will be mailed out the week of August 22nd! For the upcoming 2022-2023 school year it will be very important for all of our parents to have a Parent Portal account set up for their child/children. We are transitioning to an all electronic enrollment system and this will all be done in your Parent Portal Account, including all of our annual Back to School paper work. You can keep up with your child's attendance, grades, assignments, and reach out to teachers through email. Please see the attached flyer and reach out to your buildings secretary for more information on how to create your Parent Portal.
5th grade parents: There is a note coming home today with your student about the band program they can be a part of when they go to the middle school in the 22/23 school year! If you could review the form and send the bottom portion back if there is interest so we can send them along to the Middle School! Good morning! We would to start this holiday weekend by sending out our congratulations to the MCC Upper Elementary Students' of the Month for May - 3rd grade: Hayden Wright, 4th grade: Emelina Tiles , and 5th grade: Ezequiel Yeck! I would also like to mention the dates of the upcoming grade level end of the year field trips - 3rd grade is going to Lewis' Farms on June 1st, 4th grade will be going to White Pine Village on June 2, and our 5th graders will be going to Ludington State Park on June 8! Tonight is graduation for our seniors! The staff here would like them to know how proud we are of each and every one of them! Congratulations Class of 2022!
