Reading
Read at home for 20-30 minutes each day and summarize what you read (tell who, what, where, when, why).

(Freckle can be used through Safari or through Google Chrome, some of our students are used to the APP on an iPad, but it does not need to run through an APP to work. Writing Practice
Scholastic story starters is a fun website where students can play a simple game to create a start to a story to finish any way they wish. There are different genres to choose from such as: sci-fi, fairytale, and adventure. http://www.scholastic.com/teachers/story-starters/
