All 6th grade parents will have a quick meeting with the Principal. 6th grade students will get to tour the school and meet their teachers. New 7th and 8th grade students may meet their teachers and tour the school starting at 6:30. 7th and 8th grade student schedules will be emailed to the parent email provided. (Schedules will also be provided on the first day of school which is September 6th. )

The City of Scottville invites everyone to the Fall Festival in Downtown Scottville on September 16 & 17. You won’t want to miss the free concert, The Verve Pipe, on Main Street to kick off the festivities on Friday September 16th at 8pm followed by a full day of events on Saturday September 17th starting at 10am.



All 7th and 8th grade girls interested in playing basketball this fall the first practice will be from 5-730pm at the Upper Elementary Gym on Monday, August 22. Players will get a complete hard copy schedule for the season at practice. To participate players must have a completed physical form dated April 15, 2022 or after. Players should give Coach Weinert their form upon arrival to practice.

The MCC High School Jazz Band under the direction of our new Band Director, Caleb Schultz is performing at Water Front Park as part of the West Shore Bank's Rhythm & Dunes Concert Series. Come out and support these dedicated musicians as WSB raises money to support the MCC, Ludington, and MCE bands.


Do you need an Athletic Physical for the 2022-23 School Year? The MCE Wellness Center is open this summer to help you out with that and other health care needs.


Summer is still in full swing but we want to give parents a heads up on school supplies. We know it's more important than ever to catch the sales when possible, so we are sending out our grade-level lists a bit early.
Lists separated by grade level/subject are attached. All students will have art and P.E. at least once throughout the year.

For the upcoming 2022-2023 school year it will be very important for all of our parents to have a Parent Portal account set up for their child/children. We are transitioning to an all electronic enrollment system and this will all be done in your Parent Portal Account, including all of our annual Back to School paper work. You can keep up with your child's attendance, grades, assignments, and reach out to teachers through email.
