We are hosting a summer job fair for Juniors and Seniors this morning in the gym from 8:30 – 10:30 am.

ATTN DRIVERS ED STUDENTS

Anyone wanting into the April Segment 1 or Segment 2 Driver’s Ed classes need to get their registrations and payments turned in.

The REGISTRATION DEADLINE is today.  See Mrs. Jones

This week, Student Council is having Charity Week. Events scheduled are Lunch & Dessert Auctions, Coin Wars and Pie a Student – there are information sheets hanging outside the office or in your advisory. All money collected will be donated to Hand 2 Hand Charity.

Today –

Lunch Auction:   is provided by the teachers (arranged by Mr. Thomas) and is from McDonald’s – (2) Large Big Mac Extra Value Meals; (2) large Quarter Pounder Extra Value Meals; (4) Shamrock Shakes.

Dessert Auction:  (2) plates of one dozen peanut butter oreo brownie cupcakes – donated by Mrs. Vidak; and Strawberry Pizza Dessert donated by Mr. Briggs.

Bids will be accepted in the office up until 12:00 noon – you can call from your classroom or stop by the office.

Tomorrow’s:  

Lunch:  Provided by the Freshmen Class and is from River City Inn

It is that time of year again when student athletes need to get a sports physical for next school year.  We will be offering physicals at the high school on Monday, May 20th from 9:00 am – 3:00 pm. The cost is $25.00.  The physicals are on a first come, first serve basis so pick up your information packet in the office and get it filled out and turned in.

Congratulations to our Forensics team on winning regionals over the weekend.  We now move on to the state meet to try to repeat as state champions on May 2nd at Oakland University.

Mr. Tuka still has a few openings left for the Free trip to the state capitol on Wednesday. Please turn in your form to the office or see Mr. Tuka if you are interested in hearing the details.

There is a meeting this Wednesday during advisory for 2019 JV and Varsity Football players.

This years Prom will be April 27 at the Ludington Center for the Arts.  Tickets go on sale beginning Wednesday at lunch and can be purchased for $10.00 each.  Seniors will get in free and can check in at the night of the event but their guest (if not an MCC Senior) will need to pay and have a ticket.  Juniors wishing to attend prom must have their dues paid in order to purchase a ticket. If you plan on attending prom and you are a bringing a guest that does not go to our school or is a Freshman, or sophomore at our school you must fill out a Guest Approval form that must be signed by Mr. Tuka in order to purchase tickets for that person.  Bring your Guest Approval form when you purchase the tickets.

Ticket purchase times are Wednesday April 17, and Thursday April 18 during the lunch hour.  Monday April 22 & Tuesday, April 23rd before school, and at lunch and Wednesday April 24 at lunch.  Last day to purchase tickets will be Wednesday April 24. If you need to make other arraignments to purchase tickets contact Rachel, Genna, Hannah, or Gracie your Junior class representatives.
