MCC, Hart each get player on all-WMC baseball team

Mason County Central and Hart each had a player named to the All-West Michigan Conference team in baseball for their play this season.

The Spartans also had a player named honorable mention.

Central junior Derek Pearson was named all-league in the outfield.

Teammate and sophomore Hunter White was named honorable mention in the infield.

Hart senior Matthew Robbins was named all-conference in the infield.

Montague — Luke Marsh, pitcher, senior; Jonathan Monette, catcher, junior; Nick Stever, infield, senior; Sebastian Archer, infield, senior. North Muskegon — Charlie Branch, pitcher, sophomore; Alec Cutter, infield, sophomore; John Hayhurst, outfield, junior. Oakridge — T.J. Ruel, pitcher, senior; Jalen Hughes, catcher, senior; Koleman Wall, infield, senior; Blake Masterman, outfield, senior; Austin Fairchild, at-large, junior. Ravenna — Jack Emery, outfield, junior. Shelby — Matt Felt, infield, senior. Whitehall — Jackson VanBergen, infield, junior; Kayleb Venema, outfield, junior; Emerric Schmehil, at-large, senior.
